Context
Jason's framework for fantasy rookie QBs. Jaxson Dart over Cam Ward via the Felix model last year is exhibit A. Justin Herbert's rookie season is the only modern non-mobile rookie that broke through for fantasy. C.J. Stroud had an all-time NFL rookie season but was QB20-something for fantasy because he didn't run. Rushing yards score at 1/10 vs. passing's 1/25, plus rookies don't throw many TDs but mobile rookies can rush for 7-10 TDs.
Taylen Green (Arkansas → Browns, round 6) is the lone real running-QB stash in the 2026 class. The fact that the elite dual-threat (Diego Pavia) went undrafted is part of why this is the worst rookie fantasy class in a decade.
