ACC quarterbacks have Mountain East energy
Context
The show's quarterback read is one of the reasons it struggles to sort the ACC middle. Miami, SMU, NC State, Pitt, and Cal have some of the more credible answers, but much of the league is betting on players who did not win bigger jobs, are coming off injury, transferred after being benched, or have limited meaningful snaps.
That does not make the conference uninteresting. It may make it more volatile. If the baseline is uncertain, decent quarterback play may be enough to push a team into the second tier, especially if the rest of the roster has one clear strength.
