Louisville has a quiet nine-win runway
Context
The show's Louisville case is schedule-plus-formula. The Cardinals miss Miami, Clemson, and Virginia Tech, get several important ACC games in favorable locations, and can build around Isaac Brown, Keyjuan Brown, and a defense that profiles as top-25 caliber.
The uncertainty is offensive. Lincoln Kienholz does not have a meaningful sample, the line matters for the Brown/Brown backfield, and Jeff Brohm still has to avoid the dumb loss or two that turns a 9-2 runway into a normal ACC season.
