Miami is too clean to fade in the ACC
Context
Ty pitches "anyone other than Miami wins the ACC" as an ACC weirdness investment. Dan gives it zero emotional dollars, and Andy follows after searching for the hidden trap.
The schedule logic matters. Notre Dame is Miami's toughest game, but it does not count toward the ACC standings. Clemson is dangerous but too obvious to be a head-scratcher. Stanford, Florida State, Pitt, North Carolina, Duke, and the ACC quarterback slate do not produce enough fear, while SMU and Louisville are more likely championship-game obstacles than regular-season schedule problems.
This reinforces the May posture that Miami is no longer just the ACC's most interesting team; it is the league's obvious favorite. The old Miami head-scratcher pattern still exists historically, but the show cannot find the 2026 version in June.
