Hawaii is the better team to trust against Stanford.

Context

Both hosts lean Hawaii despite the road setting. Micah Alejado already has a proven offensive identity, Timmy Chang has created strong program vibes, and the Warriors do not require as much immediate faith in a new coach, quarterback, and roster as Stanford does.

The hosts expect a competitive game similar to last year's 23-20 Hawaii win. Stanford may run the ball with Davis Warren and Micah Ford, but the early trust case belongs to Hawaii until Stanford demonstrates that the reset has produced functional defense.
