North Dakota State's lines and Fargodome make it a strong FBS debut.

Context

North Dakota State enters the FBS after a 12-1 FCS season and brings a program culture that the hosts trust more than Jacksonville State's overall profile in this spot. The Bison have questions at quarterback and skill positions, but the lines should travel and the Fargodome should make the first home game of the new era unusually uncomfortable for the opponent.

The game is a useful test of how much FCS dominance and home-field familiarity translate immediately to the next level. Ty projects a 31-20 win; Dan also takes North Dakota State to cover.
