Context
Bill's two under-discussed contenders in the SEC's horizontal middle. For Texas A&M: Marcel Reed has the "one crippling mistake in the biggest game of the year" tendency that may be permanent — but the team has real upside. For LSU: Blake Baker's defense was awesome last year and a lot comes back; Kiffin always has a good offense; the marriage produces a top-10 ceiling. The 70+ transfers are the structural concern, with the standard caveat that inherited DCs sometimes struggle under offense-friendly head coaches.
