Context
The show gives Week 7 a 4.5 because the projected-ranked inventory has a true top: Penn State at Michigan, Alabama at Tennessee, Ohio State at Indiana, Arizona State at Texas Tech, and Notre Dame at BYU.
The caveat is depth. The week becomes even better if the ACC games hold up - Florida State-Miami, Virginia-SMU, Louisville-Syracuse - but even without that, the headline layer is strong enough for the first "keep this Saturday clear" October recommendation.
