Arkansas' QB battle carries Silverfield's year-one floor

Context

Ty is not sure Arkansas has a true toss-up battle, but he is watching it closely because KJ Jackson appears to be the projected QB1 in a rebuild with little proven offensive certainty. The surrounding reporting sounds like a shrug: either Jackson's size, arm talent, and pocket mobility work, or the offense becomes a long year-one conversation.

AJ Hill matters because he came from Memphis and knows the system, but Ty's broader point is structural. Ryan Silverfield's offenses put a lot on the quarterback pre-snap, and Arkansas does not have the luxury of a settled baseline while trying to rebuild in the SEC.
