Florida State should improve, but 7-5 may not save Mike Norvell.

Context

Ty remains mostly out on Florida State after the 2025 collapse, but he sees enough talent to believe the Seminoles will be better. Ousmane Kromah gives the run game a potential force, Duce Robinson is an All-American-caliber target, and the New Mexico State opener should let the team find its footing.

The unresolved issue is the standard for a traditional power. If Ashton Daniels and the rebuilt line are merely adequate, Florida State can reach seven wins without changing the program's broader trajectory. Ty doubts that is enough to keep Norvell in place.
