Florida State's best offense is run-first around Ashton Daniels.
Ty Hildenbrandt
“The best version of this team is probably one that leads with the run.”
Context
Florida State's backs showed enough burst to make the ground game the clearest offensive foundation. Ousmane Kromah ran for 117 yards and a touchdown, while Ashton Daniels added value as a big, mobile quarterback who can move the pocket and create an extra threat.
The self-aware version of the Seminoles does not ask Daniels to throw 35 times and will the team to victory. That formula may not be enough to beat Miami or Alabama by itself, but it gives Florida State a coherent way to protect the quarterback and make the offense more difficult to defend.
