UNLV is safer than Memphis in the G6 conversation.
Context
Ty and Dan both choose UNLV over Memphis in a game they think could matter for the G6 playoff race. UNLV went 10-4 in Dan Mullen's first season, returns a recognizable structure, and can put Jackson Arnold in a run-heavy system that may protect him while he rebuilds his passing consistency.
Memphis has a credible coach in Charles Huff and an interesting Kevin Decker offense, but roughly 50 new players, no named starting quarterback at recording time, and a road opener create too much unknown for the hosts to trust it immediately.
